Visits to websites to download music, sports scores or freeware may results in unwanted (and unknown) software being placed on your computer. This software, known as spyware or adware can interrupt normal functioning of your computer, eat up your RAM and track your computers web usage - sending it along to unscrupulous web marketing firms. And you thought cookies were bad...this is cookies gone wild, gone to the extreme.
