Setting up E-Mail using the MSLN Network Management Tool
The central servers maintained by the MSLN project are available to provide e-mail to schools and libraries. The mail through these servers is delivered through a POP (post office protocol), IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) and Web Mail.
In order to set up email on the the central server:
- You must have a working connection to the MSLN Network.
- You need to call 1-888-367-6756 (1-888-FOR-MSLN) or send mail to MSLN@lists.maine.edu to let the MSLN Network Managers know you'll be using the central mail servers and to verify that your domain and "MX" record have been set up properly. More information about the MSLN mail server.
- You have a user name and password to use the Network Management Tool so you can create email user accounts.
Once this is done, you are ready to set up e-mail accounts on the MSLN server

- Click on the link that says Network Management Tool.
